Kenny Patterson - Lead Vocals, Electro Accoustic Guitar
Kenny was born in Coldstream on the Scottish Borders and first started playing guitar as a teenager at school. He played his first gig at age 18 and got his musical inspiration from his Dad who is now retired and plays sax in a local band. Kenny played in several bands and formed the ‘Diesels’ in 1984…
Influences: Alan Jackson, George Strait, Desert Rose Band and Restless Heart.

Neil Ferrow - Lead Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals
Neil was born in Berwick-on-Tweed and first started playing guitar when he was only 9 years old. He also played ukulele banjo supported by other family members who played piano and accordian. Neil became the proud owner of his very first six string guitar at age 13…a white Rosetti Lucky Seven (Acc/Elec)….WOW !!! He played with several local bands in the early 80’s including the Isla Grant Band and in 1986, joined the ‘Diesels’ playing lead guitar and mandolin.
Influences: Hank B Marvin, Mark Knoppfler.

Ian Fearnsides - Drums, Vocals
Ian was born in Batley, West Yorks, and first started playing drums and guitar at the tender age of 13, inspired by his parents – Mum played piano and Dad played fiddle in a local band. Ian played in several rock bands in the North of England, turned pro at 21 and toured Europe with ‘’Whisky Mac’’ who had several record deals and TV appearances UK and Europe. Ian then moved to the North East and worked solo for many years, later playing country with several bands until joining the ‘Diesels’ in 2001.
Influences: Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Mike Reid, The Eagles and Eric Clapton.

Denny Mochan - Bass, Vocals
Denny was born in Balloch on the ‘bonnie banks’ of Loch Lomond and first started playing acoustic guitar as a teenager and then moved on to bass. Denny first played with Scottish dance bands and progressed to rock bands. He moved to Northumberland and in 1983 formed the ‘Diesels’ with Kenny. Denny split from the band in the 98 and played with Sidney Devine's band the The Legends and went on to play bass in local R&B bands. Denny rejoined the ‘Diesels’ in October 2002.
